Lone is Cand.Mag. in Linguistics and Finnish from Aarhus University.
As a research assistant in the Danish part of VISL, Lone is working with the valency and semantics of Danish nouns in order to further develop the automatic analyses of the Danish open corpus.
Lone has a broad linguistic background, but special areas of interest are language planning and policy, language legislation, language rights, language types, and sociolinguistics. At present, she is preparing two publications within the area of language planning and policy in Denmark.
